Sometimes in life there are things that make us sad. It is best not to bottle it up and save for a rainy day, because we all know when it rains… it pours. It is always best to let it out and take the moment for what it is. A cleansing of the soul.

PotD… Begins Tomorrow Friday the 13th
So, it seems I have been in a huge creative slump lately. I know I need to maintain my balance between my studies and my art. Though it seems things are not so balanced for me. I thought about doing another self-portrait project. Though I have already done one and I do not believe doing another would be as epic or as successful as the previous.
Yet, I feel I really need to force myself to do something more creative. So, starting tomorrow on Friday the 13th of August 2010 I will be capturing a Picture of the Day. Who knows what the image will be, but I will do something. Sure to see some self-portraits and complete randomness and stuff as well. Though I am a completely broke and starving college student so if you would like to make a donation to the cause you can
Thank you for your support.
Some Images
Ok, let me see if I can explain some of these pieces. They should be easy to understand but here I go, From Left to Right, Top to Bottom.
This twisted Self Portrait is an experiment with photoshop. Playing around with features to see what I could do. It actually has no detail work done, only manipulation through the features within. The second piece is the same thing only because of the style of image it came out a bit differently however I am very happy with how it came out and wish I could duplicate that processes. The third image in the top row is a current self-portrait. I have been losing weight and you can really tell in my face and stuff.
Next row is an experimental self portrait and the second a twisted image I did of a model I shot years ago. The third image is first of three, a Dirt Devil that I well someone else drove through, I was passenger. It was great because I was tracking it across the prairie and next thing I know it crossed the street right as we where on it and it was AWESOME!!
The third row is a distant shot of the Great Sand Dunes, the ones that were on Fire in here in Colorado. We had gone to Hooper and on our return this is what was seen. It was a great day. The last image of this row is me sitting on ‘The Chair’ out at Bishops Castle, in Wetmore, Colorado. If you ever get the chance check it out.
The fourth & Fifth rows are images of the Bishops Castle. Can you believe this was built by a single man by hand? The blue flower was found down the road a bit from the Castle when we stopped for a picnic lunch. (-;
The Sixth row are some graphic designs I was playing around with. I really enjoy the middle one which I named “Cold Hearted”
Lastly, I was thinking of a new name, 2010 Graphics and Photography is what I was thinking about. So I Designed a logo. However Old habits die hard and I played around with a new APG Digital Visual. Let me know what you think.
I have been a bit busy lately
Though I still find a moment or two to steal an image.
School is going well. Lots of researching and reading and writing and more. Pretty much all I can say about that right now. Though I did visit amazon recently and purchased a couple three inch thick books for some ‘pleasure’ reading for my courses. Not like the stack of text books are enough.
I found some time to go to the Pueblo Nature Center with a friend of mine and her kiddOs. It was a nice break and more than welcome. I enjoy the nature center, just need to find more time to head out there.
Oh, btw, she stole my camera and so I captured this first image of her WITH my camera with my phone L()L.
A couple of days ago my KiddOs came up for a brief visit and well we headed off to the nature center.

It was a good visit overall, though I am hurting now. It seems I am always the Human Jungle Gym and so my son Odin was constantly climbing on me, and stuff. Though he is still light enough at 13 that I was able to easily pick him up over my head. My Daughter Anesha is going to be turning 16 here in a few months. What a scary thought. I am getting old. L()L
Lately I have also been creating more digital designs. Just something to do to blow some time around and stuff. Mostly I do them when my mind needs to wind down or even if I have to think about something. For me, it is more of a brain-dead activity that I allow to form organically as it goes.
With the second two graphics I also created a couple videos of how they were made. Please enjoy, and Until next time, go create something.
Hey Bud
I think there was a link of this posted before but here is a more visual link for ya. This image was shot of some budding lilies on a boutique one of my brothers picked up for my mother. I found the image interesting of these flowering children. Please enjoy.

Jan 22 OH Lulu
In continuation of photos from the Open House in Long Beach, Califorina, here is Lulu. A fairly new model to the scene. She played with me for a bit in a type of shoot I do not normally do. But of course in my fashion I did a bit more. Please enjoy.
