Second Session Winding Down
Here I sit at the kitchen table with the laptop before me. Funny how I use this laptop and the desktop sits over in the office feeling neglected. I did purchase this laptop for school and it would only make sense that I use it for school. It is nice to have separate tools for the various aspects of my life.
The laptop you see I can take anywhere and research or study or review or what have you for my coursework. The desktop on the other hand I would use for graphics, digital photography and hobby writing and stuff. I would sit there for hours at a time creating graphics.
Actually just yesterday I sat at the desktop for a couple hours creating a tri-fold brochure for a client. First time I sat there in a week… which now that I think about it does not sound good. I need to find more clients.
Laptop on the other hand I can gain a change of scenery. Currently I am sitting at the kitchen table, I just finished a bowl of Frito’s and home made green chili which I prepared the day before. Not really a healthy dish but it is quick and yummy. Just what I needed right now.
But back to the laptop, if I want to get up and move to the couch I can… which is nice because I have lost enough weight now that I can actually put the laptop on my lap and use it comfortably. (I have lost 80+ I think, Have not weighed in a while so have to get back to you on that.) If I want to sit outside and enjoy the cool evening breeze the laptop travels with me.
Though the topic of this is the Second Session winding down… I have one paper left I believe plus I plan to go back and comment on some other student work when time permits. I am feeling really good about this session and not feeling as lost and down as I did the previous. Maybe its the company I am keeping, helping me maintain a more positive outlook and look at things better. Maybe I am falling into my niche where before it was not so clear. Maybe just maybe… things are different.
Wish me luck on this final paper. I have just less than two weeks to complete it and it is going to be fun. (-;
