The other night I was suppose to do some fx makeup for another photographer. Well, as things happen the concepts change, alternate and well didn’t work. I mostly blame myself because my makeup was not exactly where it should have been. However, I did do some impromptu shooting and here is what came out of it.

It was snowing when Doomsday-Dawn and I jumped in the truck to head down to the monthly open house at D.M. Gremlin’s. We ran the chance of snowfall closing the pass behind us, but it was a risk worth taking. The January 22nd open house and devmeet hosted by ^wynnesome was destined to be memorable. Braving the weather were familiar faces, old friends, and even ^quietchildae and *RestemaIII who made the journey all the way from SF for the weekend. It was also a fantastic opportunity to meet models, photographers, and artists, many of whom I’ve been trading comments and messages with for years. An impromptu photoshoot formed from models and photographers present, taking on a loosely based fitness theme.
Doomsday-Dawn was talking about lighting for fitness models and I happen to take my place as a model. It was quite fun and silly to be the subject of direction. So how do I look?
Wait, I did say loosely based fitness theme, right?
Arriving later in the evening was fantastic surprise for all of us. ~DanniDoll , Anne Wilson, and ~LuckyElement7 performed aerial stunts and mesmerized us with their vertical flair. Fortunately I was able to capture a few amazing shots of their acrobatics. Many more images will be posted soon.
They make it look so easy, don’t they?
